Hello, to all my friends and future clients!
Allow me to introduce myself and my brand! My name is Kandise. I am the ownHER and creator of Her Energy Replenished Spa of Aesthetics.
Since a very young age I have always had a passion for the beauty industry and all that it has to offer! I originally wanted to pursue a career as a cosmetologist. However, my path took a different direction. I attended several cosmetology schools, but never could find the right one that fit my personality. When I found the perfect fit I was super excited! I was doing what I loved and it made me feel like I was finally living out my purpose for the first time. Seeing how much I was helping other women to have confidence, bringing out their inner beauty and being the reason why they felt beautiful gave me so much motivation and hope. Abruptly, it all came to an end without any warning. I went to school as normal and later that evening all the students received calls stating that the school was permanently closed. Talk about devastated! I was one month away from being finished with school and one step closer to being a cosmetologist.
Fast forward, a few years later I took a microblading course and I knew that if wanted to charge what I was worth I needed to be licensed. I began to research schools that offered esthetics, which made me eager to become an esthetician. While in school I experienced obstacle after obstacle, but I never allowed the obstacles to stop me even if it required me take a break off from attending school. The final attempt to complete my hours, I was informed that my hours needed to be completed by October 5, 2020 or I would be required to start the program over from the beginning. After hearing this news I knew that I had to kick it in gear because I definitely was not starting over! Then one day during the COVID shutdown I received a random call from my employer stating that I was being laid off. I was disappointed, but in the same token I was relieved because I now had nothing standing in my way from completing school.
As of October 7, 2020 I am now a Licensed Professional Esthetician. My journey this far has been very personal to me. It has shown me that you can accomplish all things that you set out to achieve. The most rewarding part is knowing that the small vision I had for myself has manifested into my life through my hard work, staying focused, dedication to my goals and never giving up in moments of frustration. Always keep in mind that everyone will not always see or believe the vision that you have for your life. All you really need to do is BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and HAVE FAITH THE SIZE OF A MUSTARD SEED then things will manifest into reality in its right timing.
I am looking forward to growing my business, while still allowing it to have a personable feel that allows my clients and I the opportunity to build some great bonds. This is OUR HAPPY PLACE! There is no judgement here! We are free to be who we are! We can talk, laugh, cry and heal together whatever your specific need may be. I look forward to meeting and servicing you in the near future if I have not already had the pleasure to do so!

Her Energy Replenished News You Can Use:
Masks are not required! However, they are highly recommended! This ensures that everyone is safe and protected from the spread of illnesses.
You are the only person allowed at your appointment! There is limited space! (Please do not bring children to your appointment as there are certain things that are not appropriate for children to see. Brazilian Waxing is a service that I am not comfortable with exposing children to.)
Deposits/Payment Options:
⦁ All services require you to have a valid card on file at the time of booking. (Please note: Your card will not be charged, unless you cancel your appointment the same day as your appointment is scheduled or you no call no show.
⦁ A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $25.00 is NOW required at the time of booking. All deposits are applied towards the total amount of your desired service. (You will have 24 hours to pay the deposit after your appointment is booked)
⦁ All deposits must be paid using Zelle or Apple Pay.
⦁ The remaining balance owed is required to be paid in Cash, Zelle, Apple Pay or Square.
Cancellations/Reschedules:
Communication is very important and very much appreciated, as I base my schedule around BOOKED APPOINTMENTS ONLY!! Please arrive on time!! All my appointments are scheduled in blocks of 30 minute increments. In the event that there are additional services that are needing to be rendered, additional time will be added to service time. You will typically finish well before the 30 minutes, but this allows all of my clients to receive the same amount of attention and care during their service. You are allotted a 10 minute grace period. If you are running late over the 10 minute period, please communicate that with me. If there is a gap in my schedule I may be able to fit you in. However, if you are running over 15 minutes I ask that you reschedule your appointment or it will automatically be cancelled. You then will have to reschedule and you will lose the $25.00 paid deposit.
Clients that no call/no show to their appointment will not be able to book any future appointments, unless the full amount is paid in full.
If your appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment the card that you have on file will be charged for the full amount of the service(s) scheduled
AfterCare Wax instructions
Please follow the guidelines below to ensure your skin is cared for properly over the next few days following your service.
Please note: some slight soreness, small bumps and redness are common and perfectly normal temporary reactions, particularly if this is your first wax. These symptoms should subside over the next 24 – 48 hours. If you experience persistent redness or irritation, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Keep the waxed area clean, and avoid heat and friction during the next 24 – 48 hours.
This means:
No hot baths or showers (cool to lukewarm water only).
No saunas, hot tubs, massage or steam treatments.
No tanning (sunbathing, sun beds or fake tans).
No sport, gym work or other exercise.
Avoid scratching or touching the treated area with unwashed
hands.
Wear clean, loose fitting clothes.
Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools.
Do not apply deodorants, body sprays, powders, lotions or
other products to the area
To soothe and protect the skin, apply an antiseptic cream to the waxed area regularly for 3 days following your treatment. Always wash your hands before applying any product. To prevent ingrown hairs: starting a few days after your appointment and then continuing a couple of times every week. Exfoliate the areas you get waxed using a dry brush or exfoliating mitt. Moisturize every day to keep the skin supple and help new hairs to grow through normally. Don’t exfoliate too much or too rough as this can graze the skin and cause ingrown hairs.
You may notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so. It can take up to 4 treatments for your hair to get on a growth cycle that gives best results.
You will need at least 3-4 weeks growth of hair before it can be successfully removed by waxing;
Please do not shave between your appointments.
To maintain your smooth appearance, I recommend regular waxing every 4-6 weeks. Please do not go over the 6 week mark to avoid experiencing excessive pain at your next appointment! Keep in the mind with consistency your pain level may reduce, but the longer you wait the pain can intensify.
